Story Line:
Nirmala Gupta runs her household and family in a very strick and authoritarian manner. While familymembers do obey her and carry out her instructions, so as to be on her good side. Things started to change after her second son gets married with Anju. After few weks Manju (Rekha) , Anju’s sister, comes over to stay for a few days with the Gupta family, and is fun loving girl accepted by everyone in the family including Ashoka kumar except Nirmala. Ashoka kumar third son (Rakesh Roshan) teases her but soon starts loving her and intends to marry Manju. But Manju does not like the manner in which his mom bosses everyone along, and feels some changes are needed in the Gupta family. But now day during this fun, nirmal gupta relaises that her family members diobey and say to ashok kumar that manju is a type of girl who liver for herself only and doesn’t care for others. The Rest of the story is how nirmala gupta changes her decision when a sudden incident takes place and agrees for marrying his son with manju.
